Nintendo has announced the virtual game card feature, which will be applied to Switch consoles. It is designed to simplify the management of digital games.

You won't even need to do anything to get it back, as the title in question will return automatically when the time is up.

The VGC enables game transfers between consoles via a local Wi-Fi connection, making it easier to share games from one Switch to another. Initially, the devices will need to be linked. Just imagine how it will make the transition from Switch 1 to Switch 2 much smoother. According to Nintendo, the main goal of this feature is to make digital games as flexible and convenient as physical cartridges.
