The developers of Dota 2 have released update 7.37, in which many heroes have been rebalanced in one way or another. Additionally, the developers have more clearly outlined the behavior of various abilities and whether they can be blocked or not. This should simplify the understanding of mechanics for casual players.

In addition to balance changes, which are too numerous to immediately assess their impact on the meta, the update marks the return of two long-forgotten items. The Ironwood Tree has returned to the first tier of neutral items, providing a very good stat boost early in the game.

The most notable return is the reappearance of Iron Talon in the second tier. This timing will make it impossible for passive junglers to return, but for supports, this item can become very useful in situations where some jungle farming is needed after the laning phase.

Another notable change is the adjustment to Philosopher's Stone — it will no longer provide a permanent gold income boost, which is beneficial as it will motivate players to transition to higher-tier items.

You can read the full changelog here. It is highly likely that The International will be played on version 7.37 (or a lettered version with small but critically important fixes). The world championship for Dota 2 will be held in September in Copenhagen.
