Journalists from HLTV.org have discovered the planned dates for the Counter-Strike 2 Majors. Valve has already set the exact dates for the world championships, rescheduling them. The tournaments will take place at the end of the competitive seasons.

It has also been revealed that Valve is searching for tournament organizers who will be responsible for events. Preference will be given to companies and cities that have previously hosted CS:GO events. The developers have promised to provide funding to the organizers.
There's also good news for fans: the championships will be held in a convenient time zone for them.

A total of two Majors per year are planned to be organized.
The tournaments will take place:
- from June 9 to June 22, 2025;
- from December 1 to December 14, 2025;
- from June 8 to June 21, 2026;
- from November 30 to December 13, 2026.
There will also be a Major in 2024: the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 will take place from March 17 to March 31. The venue will be the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen.
