BLAST Premier World Final 2024 was scheduled a little bit early compared to previous years, but that is due to the fact that in December all the best teams in the world will compete in the second major tournament in history of Counter-Strike 2. Before everyone travels to Shanghai, BLAST Premier offered all fans an opportunity to see the current state of the best teams in the world.

G2 Esports had a successful tournament with wins in all four matches. The grand final against Team Spirit was a walk in the park, since the Serbian club could not win more than seven rounds per map. While G2 players are for sure happy with such a result, there are several factors that might spoil their performance in China.

First of all, if NiKo is indeed leaving the club, then it might have a negative impact on team chemistry. The stakes in December will be much higher, and under new levels of pressure the team might not be strong enough. The second big factor is the timing. NAVI, who won Copenhagen Major, had a slump at the BLAST Premier. Now, they have a month to correct their mistakes. But how strong can G2 improve? It is a well known fact that the improvement is better after the losses.

We'll have to wait until mid-November, because that is the time when European RMR starts. We're entering perhaps the most intriguing and interesting time of CS2 season.
