The esports organization FlyQuest has launched a charity campaign and an environmental initiative called "Koalafication." For every ace and pistol round win by the Aussie squad, the club will sponsor a koala for a month. The first tournament with this initiative is IEM Dallas.

For each purchased T-shirt dedicated to the campaign, the team will also donate $5 to a fund that cares for koalas. The T-shirt itself costs $30. Team members joked that they now have more motivation to win the initial rounds in official matches.

Currently, the team is doing relatively well, as it is in the top 20 of worldwide ratings, and they win more pistol rounds than they lose. If we look at the stats of the team during the last three months, we can see that FlyQuest won 41 out of 76 pistol rounds (53.9%) and its players in total got nine aces. That is not a big number, but worth praise anyway.

The IEM Dallas 2024 has already started and will last until June 2. The prize pool of the event is $250,000. What's more important is that the winner will also receive an invite to IEM Cologne 2024.
