IEM Katowice 2025 marks the official start of the esports season, as it is the first of the four most prestigious tournaments of the year. Today was particularly eventful, featuring two high-profile matchups where superstar players faced off against their former teams.

In the lower bracket of Group A, NiKo and his new team, Team Falcons, went up against G2 Esports. The teams delivered an intense battle that stretched across all three regulation maps, but in the end, G2 Esports emerged victorious.
