After Valve decided to rework the entire competitive esports scene in Counter-Strike 2, we know almost all big tournaments of 2025. The only big blank space is the second CS2 Major that should occur in December. Yet we don't know exact dates or the place... But there are some interesting rumours floating around.

The second Counter-Strike 2 Major will reportedly take place in Budapest, Hungary, with StarLadder being in charge. This information comes from the esports website Sheep Esports, citing insider sources. If the rumor proves true, it would mark the first Major event hosted in Hungary.

This would make sense. StarLadder is coming back to Counter-Strike scene, the company already hosted Major in Berlin, and it was well done. So it might be unsurprising to see this name in the contenders list. However, there has been no official confirmation from Valve or any tournament organizers regarding this championship or its location. The first CS2 Major of 2025 will be hosted by BLAST in June, taking place in Austin, Texas, USA.
