Many fans eagerly awaited the return of s1mple to the professional scene. After Valve officially replaced Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with Counter-Strike 2, the Ukrainian sniper had been absent from competitions.

Only recently did s1mple begin his active journey back to the top, with one of the steps being a three-month stint with Team Falcons. While his individual stats are quite solid (a 1.12 average rating across four matches), the rest of the team has been significantly underperforming.

As a result, the team faced early exits from both the Thunderpick World Championship and ESL Challenger Katowice. We've already covered the first tournament, and the second one ended just as quickly, with Team Falcons falling to SAW and then to Eternal Fire.

Despite the setbacks, s1mple remains optimistic. While he understandably isn't happy with these results, he views them as part of the process. Team Falcons' next scheduled tournament will be the European RMR.
