The fourth round of PGL Bucharest was critical for many teams. Some managed to push through to the playoffs, while for a few favorites who started the tournament poorly, this round gave them a chance for a comeback.

The MongolZ and Team Falcons both had a rough start in Romania, losing their first two matches. Today, both teams are sitting at 2-2, but only one will make it to the semifinals as they’ll face each other in the fifth round. Unfortunately, luck turned away from FURIA and Legacy — both Brazilian teams are out of the tournament with a 1-3 record.

There were also surprises in the upper half of the bracket: Complexity defeated FaZe Clan, and GamerLegion took down Virtus.pro. These wins secured spots in the playoffs for those teams. Joining them today is Aurora, who triumphed over Apogee.

The fifth round is a knockout stage. The winner moves on to the playoffs, and the loser packs their bags. Along with the match between The MongolZ and Team Falcons, we’ll also see Astralis vs. Virtus.pro and Apogee vs. FaZe Clan. It’s going to be an exciting day!
