In response to numerous complaints from the gaming community, Maxis, the developer of the popular life simulation game The Sims 4, has announced the formation of a special team dedicated to resolving accumulated bugs and optimizing the game's performance.

In a post on their official X account on May 24th, the studio apologized for the technical issues that players of The Sims 4 have been experiencing lately. The company promised to release a series of patches over the next month aimed at fixing critical bugs and improving overall stability.

According to the developers, the June patch will address more than 30 known issues, including disappearing objects, property rights violations, and the inability to repair damage to constructed buildings. Additionally, the update should enhance performance by optimizing memory usage and increasing the frame rate.

The decision to create a bug-fixing team might seem strange, especially a decade after the initial release of The Sims 4. However, the vast number of paid expansions and add-ons regularly introduced to the game over the years has gradually led to an accumulation of bugs and a decline in stability.

The release of the "For Rent" expansion pack in December 2023 proved particularly problematic, as complaints about various glitches and errors surged following its launch. It appears that the sudden influx of instability and critical feedback from players prompted Maxis to take more decisive action.
