Remedy Entertainment has released patch 1.2.3 for Alan Wake 2. Although there are no new content additions, the patch deploys fixes to numerous bugs, as well as a significant balance adjustment to The Lake House DLC. Completing it should be easier because developers added healing items.

If we speak about the biggest bugs that are now fixed, players should no longer encounter issues unlocking the "Shape of a Man" trophy. Adaptive triggers on DualSense controllers will also function correctly. Notably, additional effects for DualSense were introduced in a previous patch timed to the game’s anniversary.

During that update, a classic Alan Wake outfit was added, and the latest patch has corrected an issue where the shotgun displayed incorrectly with the new attire. Additionally, players will no longer face progression issues caused by a task disappearing after loading a save.

Patch 1.2.3 also includes adjustments to various localizations. You can view the complete list of changes on the game’s website.
