EVO 2024 is entering its final stage, and before the top-6 bracket in Tekken 8, Bandai Namco revealed the third DLC character that will arrive to the game this fall. In a three-minute trailer video it was revealed that Heihachi Mishima will be back!

Very few people expected such a twist, because earlier, Katsuhiro Harada, the mastermind behind the Tekken franchise, mentioned that Heihachi is dead. He lost his battle to Kazuya in Tekken 7, and therefore, fans were getting used to a game where his fighting style and character traits would be distributed between Reina and Kuma (the latter even wore elements of clothes to honor his master). 

Now, this announcement raises many questions, which, we want to believe, will be answered sooner rather than later. How did Heihachi survive? What will happen to the Mishima zaibatsu? What will happen next? The Tekken team will have to work hard to make everyone satisfied. At the time of writing, people are shocked and excited. Great job, Harada! Great job, Tekken team!
