The creators of the PlayStation 4 emulator called shadPS4 have managed to launch Bloodborne on a PC. The game loads and allows access to the character creation menu, where glitches occur. A video demonstrating the launch of Bloodborne via the emulator was published on YouTube.

In the video, you can see that the Bloodborne menu in the emulator has acquired a red tint. This is one of the many technical issues that shadPS4 developers need to address.  The emulator's creators warned that they still have a lot of work ahead of them. Therefore, players should not expect to be able to complete Bloodborne on PC anytime soon.

Bloodborne was able to launch via shadPS4 after the release of update 0.1.0 for the emulator. In it, the developers added a shader recompiler, which provided the technical capability to open many PS4 games. The emulator developers do not provide any even approximate timelines for when a stable version of the utility will be released.
