For a long time, fans of FromSoftware games have dreamed of seeing Bloodborne on PC. While developers have yet to make any official announcements, Hidetaka Miyazaki has even speculated on the possibility. This means the task has fallen to the players themselves, who have been searching for workarounds and emulators to run the game.

The situation has changed significantly with the emergence of the shadps4 emulator. In a relatively short period, modders have managed to launch the game and access the character editor. However, gameplay was not yet feasible at that stage. Now, this milestone has been successfully passed. Videos have surfaced online showing people playing Bloodborne on PC, although what we see is far from perfect.

First, many players experience low frame rates on this emulator. Second, there are numerous graphical artifacts. The shadps4 team mentions that they have had to use several hacks to achieve these results. Nevertheless, the progress is evident, and the speed of development is encouraging. After all, it took only a month and a half to go from the main menu to actual gameplay with decent frame rates. We will continue to follow this story closely.
