Recently, Activision embraced the path of Fortnite: the more crossovers the merrier. There are also rumours that a new Black Ops 6 crossover might arrive very soon — and this time it’s all about Mission: Impossible. Insider TheGhostOfHope made a tweet that doesn't leave much space for interpretation. Especially if we consider the premiere date of the new movie with Tom Cruise — May 23.

If real, the collab would likely bring both free and paid content through an Event Pass. Expect themed operator skins (maybe even Ethan Hunt himself), new cosmetics, and weapons. But players are already wary — past collabs were hit with criticism for high prices and underwhelming content. The full TMNT bundle, for example, cost around $100.

This wouldn’t be Black Ops 6’s first pop culture team-up, but fans hope this one brings more value. A Mission: Impossible event has huge potential for spy gadgets, stealth cosmetics, and iconic lines — but only if Activision gets it right.
