Elon Musk’s recent Path of Exile 2 stream aboard his private jet was supposed to highlight the power of Starlink’s satellite internet. Instead, it became a target for relentless trolling. The billionaire, who proudly calls himself a gamer, couldn’t even defeat the first boss, leaving viewers unimpressed.
To make matters worse, Musk left private messages enabled, allowing trolls to bombard him with offensive comments. His struggles were compounded by prior suspicions about his gaming skills. In an earlier stream, Musk showcased a level 95 Hardcore character, but his gameplay revealed glaring flaws: no potion usage, missed valuable loot, and confusion over the game’s interface. Gamers theorized that his account was boosted by professionals.
Eventually, Musk admitted to using boosting services, claiming it was impossible to compete with skilled Asian players without help. While this explanation may have been honest, it did little to quell the backlash from the gaming community, who criticized him for undermining the spirit of fair play.
