Battlestate Games brought a fresh patch for its multiplayer shooter Escape from Tarkov, launching the in-game Halloween event. It launches a new quest chain. According to the lore, a biological disaster happened in Norvinsk, and there are many infected people. Those who are not affected by this incident should hold fire against each other and fight with common problem. Also, developers published an interesting video dedicated to the event.

Other notable additions include:

  • You can now interact to a certain point with your stash, change some things in your profile, and visit the Flea Market while servers are being found.
  • Some achievements will also provide a reward.
  • Items got two new functions: "Pin" and "Lock". The former prevents stuff from auto-sorting, the latter basically freezes the status of an item, making it unable to interact with.
  • The in-game season has shifted to autumn.
  • Two new AA-12 Shotguns.
  • Various issues have been fixed.
