At the end of January, Tekken 8 was released on modern consoles and PC, a fighting game that was the first in the genre to utilize the advanced Unreal Engine 5. Many players noted its outstanding visual style and spectacular effects, however, the release was not without minor errors. Nevertheless, the developers promptly prepared the first patch aimed at fixing the majority of known glitches.
The first update for Tekken 8 is now available for download. The fighting game has been updated to the current version v1.01.04.
In this patch, developers focused on the balance and abilities of some fighters, about whom players had complained since the release. The overall gameplay was improved to make battles fairer for each character, and changes also affected the movements and properties of some individual fighters. The full list of character changes is available on the official game website.
With the release of the update, all players' match replays and personal tips will be reset and deleted due to significant reworks in the behavior of some characters. Data on ghosts from previous versions remains accessible, but the behavior and movements of characters will be updated to reflect the balance changes made by the patch.
The developers promise to monitor player feedback and, if necessary, release another update with balance adjustments.
