The freshly released PC version of Ghost of Tsushima started out with a bang and claimed the spot of the bestseller in last week's edition of the Steam chart.
The PC version was launched on May 17. But before that a drama happened, as publisher chose an option to remove it from sale in more than 170 countries where PSN is not available. The reason is the requirement for a PSN account link if a player wants to run the multiplayer.
As we know, the service is not officially supported in these countries, and it caused a huge uproar among the Helldivers 2 community. But despite pre orders being canceled and sales being limited, the action game became Sony's most successful single-player Steam release when it comes to peak concurrent players.
Ghost of Tsushima was formerly a PlayStation exclusive. PS4 and PS5 players could experience it on July 17, 2020, and a year later, a director's cut saw the light. It is worth noting that Steam users got the director's cut and not the initial version.
Ten best-selling products of the last week:
- Ghost of Tsushima
- Steam Deck
- Baldur's Gate 3
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Hades II
- Helldivers 2
- Elden Ring
- V Rising
