Unfrozen has released a new gameplay trailer for Heroes of Might Magic: Olden Era showcasing key elements of the strategy game, including mechanics, units, and overall gameplay. Alongside the trailer, the studio announced the opening of registration for the closed beta test of the "Arena" mode. Players can request access via the game’s Steam page, with testing scheduled from March 17 to March 28.

Heroes of Might Magic: Olden Era is set to enter early access on Steam in Q2 2025. At launch, the game will feature six factions, three single-player modes, and three multiplayer modes. Ubisoft is handling publishing duties for this highly anticipated title.

Recently, the developers unveiled the Dungeon faction, introducing troglodytes, dark elves, minotaurs, medusas, hydras, and dragons. These units bring unique dynamics to the battlefield, further enriching the game’s strategic depth.

The team at Unfrozen admitted they faced challenges while developing the Arena mode, particularly with balancing skills and heroes due to limited space and lack of starting advantages. However, they successfully resolved these issues, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for players.

Although the game is expected to release on PC later this year, an exact date has yet to be announced. The developers are designing it to appeal to both series veterans and newcomers alike.
