Unfrozen has just revealed the latest teaser trailer for Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era, spotlighting the Sylvan faction, also called the Forest Alliance. This faction is composed of nature’s defenders, from fey guardians to powerful elemental creatures, united in their effort to protect the forests from harm. In the game, players will come across numerous mythical beings such as fauns and phoenixes, each playing an integral part in maintaining the balance of nature.

The trailer, while brief, gives players an exciting glimpse into the faction’s backstory, but the real in-depth information can be found in the developer’s diary. The Sylvans are inspired by the nature-based and elemental hybrid themes from Heroes of Might & Magic 2, where nature magic was seamlessly intertwined with elemental powers, a design that continued into Heroes of Might & Magic 3.

Heroes from the Forest Alliance have a special affinity for primal magic, which many of them use in their spellcasting. The faction includes various playable heroes, such as elves, birdfolk, and cat-like beings, as well as familiar faces like the Ifrit, Octavia.

Get ready for the Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era early access launch in summer 2025. In previous updates, the game introduced three other factions: Hive, Dungeon, and Necropolis.
