Popular multiplayer maps Shipment and Highrise have received holiday updates. They are now called "Shipmas" and "Hangover". Hangover has added cosmetic elements like snowmen and Christmas garlands. Shipmas also features some snowy elements.

Multiplayer mode has added "Infected Holiday" and "Snowball Fight". In "Infected Holiday", everyone becomes Santa, and infected players turn into Zombie Santas. Snowfight is a variant of Gunfight where players throw snowballs to destroy enemies in the first two rounds. Starting from the third round, gamers can use regular weapons or look for snowballs on the map. By the way, there's a special yellow snowball on the map that kills with one hit.

In Warzone's battle royale mode, the In Slay Ride Resurgence mode has been introduced. Players can board a train in Urzikstan and kill Santa to get special equipment and an emblem.

The Warzone map will also have 6 capture points in the form of "Deck the Halls" trees. Anyone standing near the tree will receive holiday decorations for the tree. This can be upgraded to levels 2 and 3 to increase the value of the loot, provided there are no enemies nearby.

Activision also stated that throughout the event, there will be "secrets related to CODMAS" on the map.
