On September 6th, a Reddit user named rearisen shared two images showing the roster of fighters for Mortal Kombat 1: the main roster and cameo characters. The player got their hands on a physical copy of MK1.

The main roster features 23 fighters including Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Shao Khan, and other popular characters. There's also a separate list for cameo characters which includes Sektor, Cyrax, Kano, Goro, and more.

In addition to these fighters, the game will also introduce several DLC characters: Homelander, Peacemaker, Omni-Man, Quan Chi, Ermac, and Takeda.

Rearisen mentioned that he got the Switch version of MK1. He advised against buying the game for this platform due to technical issues. For instance, the frame rate sometimes drops to 15 fps during cutscenes. However, he did enjoy the gameplay.
