Mizutsune becomes available at Hunter Rank 21 after completing an optional quest from Kanya at the Scarlet Forest base camp. Players reaching Hunter Rank 41+ can challenge Tempered Mizutsune. Additionally, high-rank monster Zoh Shia has been added, unlockable at Hunter Rank 50.

The April patch introduces the Great Hall, a new social zone accessible after completing a tutorial mission at Hunter Rank 16. The Great Hall offers various activities and features, including Bowling, Diving, Arm Wrestling, a dining hall, and an arena counter. A new expedition record board has also been added, displaying rankings for timed quest completions. While arena challenges and free challenges (without equipment restrictions) have been introduced, these modes will become available later.

On the technical side, the update improves VRAM usage and updates DirectStorage to the latest version. Although developers havenā€™t promised direct performance boosts, numerous visual bugs and glitches have been fixed. The patch addresses a range of issues, including dialogue problems, incorrect monster behavior, disappearing wounds on monsters, and bugs related to specific actions. SOS signal mechanics and player interactions have also been improved.

With this update, Capcom continues to enhance Monster Hunter Wilds, offering players more ways to enjoy its expansive world.
