Irina "Zemlia" Sukhanova The first stage of the beta testing for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has ended on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The next beta is set to begin shortly, and in preparation for it, the developers have released the first update. Ahead of the shooter's testing on PC and other consoles, they promise to enhance operative visibility, reduce latency, and fix some crashes.
In its blog, Nvidia confirmed that the beta version of Modern Warfare 3 will include DLSS 2 and Nvidia Reflex, and the full version, scheduled for release on November 10, 2023, will also get DLSS 3.

DLSS 2 is a welcomed addition to the game's beta version since it sometimes significantly boosts FPS across the board, depending on the resolution. For instance, a 1080p resolution might see an increase of more than 50% when DLSS 2 is activated, while gamers with 1440p or 4K resolution might witness an increase of around 20-25%.
Nvidia is also incorporating its Reflex software into the game, which will reduce latency in all directions. Add a high-refresh-rate monitor and a suitable graphics card, such as the RTX 4080, and you're in for a smooth experience.

However, the studio has yet to respond to reports of cheaters in the beta test. Players can only hope for covert anti-cheat improvements.
The enhancements can be tried out this Thursday when the second beta test for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches. The shooter can be played on PC and consoles until October 14, after which players will have to wait for the release on November 10.
