Activision once again proved that sometimes they do listen to their players and improve Call of Duty. In the open beta testing of Modern Warfare 3, players discovered a new feature they had been asking developers for over 15 years. Now, in the shooter, you can finally avoid being blinded by a flashbang grenade.
The fact is that in previous parts of the series, including Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone, flashbang grenades had a huge blast radius. Even if a player turned away from the explosion or tried to leave the blast area, they were guaranteed to be blinded. This has finally been fixed in the new Modern Warfare 3. To avoid being blinded, players simply need to turn away from it, as in many other realistic shooters.
On social media, many gamers praised the game's developers and thanked Sledgehammer Games for listening to the players. According to users, the team dared to do what Infinity Ward and other studios were so afraid of. It should be noted, however, that not all players were satisfied. Users pointed out that the entire franchise requires many more fixes and improvements than just a flashbang grenade fix.
