10 days ago, the developers from Ocean Drive Studio presented a trailer for their game. The project looked so impressive that many suspected deception, calling the gameplay fake and comparing it to The Day Before.

In response, the developers released a 22-minute demo recording, which will be playable in Boston during PAX East (May 8-11). The creators assure that this is an "honest look" at the game—without editing or post-processing—so people can truly see what awaits them. But that’s not all: soon, the demo will be available on Steam for everyone to try.

God Save Birmingham is a survival game set in 14th-century Birmingham, overrun by hordes of bloodthirsty undead. Players take on the role of one of the few lucky survivors who haven’t yet become walking meals. The full version promises a story campaign with exploration of the entire medieval city, but initially, in Early Access, players will have to settle for just one district in sandbox mode.

There’s no release date for the game yet.
