The developers of the shooter Rogue Company have removed the skin of the streamer Guy Beahm, better known as Dr. Disrespect, from the game. This action was taken because he was previously accused of inappropriate messaging with a minor, a claim to which he later confessed.
The creators of Rogue Company announced that they would remove all content related to the streamer, including "The Arena" map. Players will receive compensation in the form of in-game currency, which should be credited to their accounts during the week of July 7 to 13. The skin and map will no longer be available in any modes, including custom games, the developers emphasized.
Hi-Rez Studios informed that those who wish to may attempt to get a refund in monetary form. To do so, players need to contact the support service of the digital store where they made the purchase.
The update that removed the Dr Disrespect skin was the first for the shooter in four and a half months. The last content update for the game was released in November 2023.
