The developers at GSC Game World have announced the exact global release time for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Players can dive into the game on November 20 at 16:00 GMT on PC and Xbox Series. On the same day, the shooter will also be available via Game Pass.
Additionally, reviews and opinions from journalists will be published two hours earlier. This is not a good sign. However, since it is available via subscription, risks for players are now lower.
Early impressions from the press have been positive. The game's strengths reportedly include its survival elements and variability, which enhance the immersive experience of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
Before the release, it’s worth checking your PC against the system requirements. Notably, the developers have listed these requirements with scaling technologies in mind. Target performance can only be achieved with upscaling — without it, the hardware demands significantly increase. For instance, DLSS 3 greatly boosts frame rates.
Fans were waiting for a long time, and the Game Pass release will add attention from the gamers. Soon we will once again join this world.
