The creators of the action game Stellar Blade revealed an upcoming DLC crossover with NieR: Automata. There weren't many concrete details told. However, developers promised its release later in 2024.
During the latest State of Play, the Stellar Blade team put a small teaser of this collab into their video. The trailer also showcased the promised photo mode. We should expect huge wariety of different options, yet, just like with the DLC, the launch date is unknown. It might be possible that they will be both released at the same time.
Interestingly, this DLC is another step in a long story of love and respect between the developers of both titles. Previously, Stellar Blade director Hyung-Tae Kim described NieR: Automata as his main source of inspiration, because Yoko Taro's game impressed him with its many nuances. The mastermind behind NieR: Automata also praised Stellar Blade for its stunning graphics and memorable characters.
On a side note, the full Stellar Blade OST is also available now on all music streaming platforms.
