The developers at Shift Up have announced the next update for Stellar Blade. This time, it is Christmas-themed, bringing appropriately festive content. It will go live on December 17 exclusively for PlayStation 5.

First, several locations in the game have been decorated for Christmas. Eve will walk through familiar areas transformed with Christmas trees, snowmen, and bright decorations.

The camp will feature relaxing holiday music, and Eve herself can don a Santa-themed outfit in red tones. The festive look will also include other cosmetic items, such as earrings. Even Eve's drone can get into the holiday spirit by sporting a reindeer mask.

The highlight of the festive update is a new mini-game. Eve will need to accurately shoot at targets to earn rewards.

In addition to the seasonal content, the update introduces a significant new feature. Players will now have the option to toggle seasonal content and items from the paid NieR: Automata crossover on or off at any time. This likely also applies to the summer update, where Eve received a set of swimsuits and could explore a beach-themed zone.
