Having become a true cultural phenomenon, Among Us is also set to receive a special animated series, in the works at CBS Television Studios, known for projects like "Beverly Hills, 90210: The Next Generation" and "Star Trek: Discovery".
The project is headed by Owen Dennis, a name already familiar to fans of the animated series "Infinity Train". Below, we can see the first official image.
Among Us was released in 2018 but gained widespread popularity only in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, topping the charts on Google Play and the App Store in various countries around the world.
Although the game is no longer the center of attention as it was some time ago, it has not been forgotten and remains a part of media culture, at least in terms of video games, with its distinctive elements.
Therefore, the appearance of the animated series on television should not depend on the current state of the video game, as the brand is already well-recognized, and we are eager to see how it can be transformed into a cartoon.
Clearly, the main challenge will be to introduce a proper narrative into the set of typical gaming situations, which are often devoid of significant meaning. The release date remains unknown.
