This spring, World of Goo 2 will make its way to Steam, marking the end of its exclusivity period on the Epic Games Store and Nintendo Switch. Developed by Tomorrow Corporation and 2DBoy, the sequel to the iconic 2008 puzzle game promises to bring gooey fun to a wider audience.

The game initially debuted on August 2, 2024, thanks in part to funding support from Epic. Now, as the exclusivity window closes, Steam players can look forward to experiencing the innovative puzzles and goo-based mechanics that have made the series a fan favorite.

In the coming weeks, the developers will unveil more details about the Steam release, along with updates planned for all versions of the game. These updates aim to refine gameplay and add fresh content, keeping the experience engaging for players across platforms.

Here’s what the official description of World of Goo 2 reveals:

"Construct bridges, build towering edifices, mold landscapes, and power flying machines in this highly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed World of Goo Interact with lifelike, sticky fluids—manipulate their movement, turn them into gooey extensions, extinguish flames, and unravel challenging puzzles."

With its blend of creativity and challenge, World of Goo 2 is poised to become a standout title for puzzle enthusiasts this spring.
