The first competitive season of Marvel Rivals is about to start, and the game is currently gaining huge traction! Even Tim Sweeney has commented that the game has fun in it, which means a lot.
What’s even more significant is that the developers are striving to satisfy players' thirst for knowledge. It’s now easier to track the game meta since NetEase has opened up data on the win and pick rates of all heroes.
This means that to understand which heroes are strong, players no longer need to rely on third-party trackers. Speaking of which, if we take a look at the data now, the most picked hero at the top level is Doctor Strange, with an impressive 34% pick rate and a solid 51.87% win rate. The top three most popular characters also include Mantis and Luna Snow.
The highest win rates, however, belong to Hulk, Magik, and Iron Fist. Notably, Hulk will receive a nerf in the first season, while Magik will be buffed. The difference likely lies in the pick rate, which is twice as high for the green tank.
It seems like Marvel Rivals is the leading game right now, and it’s great to see that the developers have no intention of slowing down.
