The most affordable 12GB VRAM graphics card available is the Arc B580. To determine whether Intel could compete in the low-cost market, experts compared it to the well-established RTX 4060.

Intel tried to gain a foothold in the budget graphics card market by releasing Arc B580 with 12 GB of memory. Specialists of Tech4Gamers portal compared the novelty with its main competitor in this segment - RTX 4060. Comparing the cost, the Intel Arc B580 costs $250, while the RTX 4060 costs $300. However, the Arc B580 offers more VRAM (12GB vs. 8GB) and a wider memory bus (192-bit vs. 128-bit for the RTX 4060).

In terms of performance, the Arc B580 beats the RTX 4060 on average by 1.7% in games and 4.1% in workloads. However, if we consider each game separately, the situation is not so clear-cut.

In Red Dead Redemption 2 Intel Arc B580 demonstrates an impressive advantage: the graphics card produces an average of 88 FPS, which is 41.9% more than the RTX 4060 with its 62 FPS.

In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the Arc B580 overtakes the competition, achieving an average of 105 FPS, a 43.8% increase over the 73 FPS of the RTX 4060.

However, in Cyberpunk 2077, the RTX 4060 takes revenge. The NVIDIA card delivers 79 FPS on average, a 21.5% increase over the Arc B580's 65 FPS.

In Ghost of Tsushima, the Arc B580 comes out on top again, delivering 69 FPS versus 62 FPS for the RTX 4060, an 11.3% increase. But in God of War: Ragnarok NVIDIA holds the lead with 79 FPS, ahead of Intel by 16.2% (68 FPS).
