According to Deadline, Nate Moore, the vice president of production and development at Marvel Studios, declared he would leave the company in 2025 but would continue working on Black Panther 3 until then. Moore remarked, "I feel fortunate to have collaborated with a team of individuals who share my passion for storytelling and filmmaking, as well as my Marvel colleagues and the cast and crew of our films."

"However, I am incredibly thrilled to use my background and love of cinema to work on theatrical productions across all genres, including Black Panther 3's return to Wakanda."

This return was also mentioned in passing by Feige and Louis D'Esposito, co-president of Marvel Studios. "We'll miss [Moore] a lot, but we're excited to see what he does next and have the good fortune to collaborate with him in a different way on our next Black Panther film."

Marvel announced in November that Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther and its sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, was writing a part for Denzel Washington in a new movie, the studio was at least considering a third movie. One of Demzel's last role. Up until Feige's modest official announcement, nothing more was said about it, but it will probably be some time before more information becomes available.
