While we're hours away from the release of Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, it seems like the publisher is confident in the game, as interesting information went public. According to Windows Central editor Jez Corden, Microsoft has given the "green light" to the next game from Ninja Theory. While nothing is officially confirmed, Corden cites his own reliable sources. According to these sources, there are no plans to close the studio.
Corden emphasized the talk is not about the experimental horror game Project Mara, announced back in 2020. It looks like Ninja Theory is already planning to start their next major title after Senua's Saga: Hellblade II.
Corden revealed Ninja Theory's plans after the head of the studio, Dom Matthews, published a special message to fans before the release of Hellblade II. One of the perceived meanings of this post was a "farewell message from the developers before the imminent closure." In response to such concerns, Corden stated that Ninja Theory is safe, as the studio's next project has already been approved.
