Adult Swim has released the highly anticipated trailer for Lazarus a new anime collaboration between powerhouse studio MAPPA, visionary director Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop) and action maestro Chad Stahelski (John Wick) The sneak peek delivers nonstop excitement with explosive sequences, relentless pursuits, and jaw-dropping stunts.

One standout moment showcases a deranged character from the titular Lazarus team taunting a heavily armed FBI squad using nothing but their bare hands—and attitude. This blend of chaos and audacity sets the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable ride.

In this dystopian vision of the near future, humanity has achieved victory over illness through a revolutionary medication. But when the inventor exposes it as a lethal toxin set to claim lives in three years, a ragtag band of protagonists must race against time to find a solution.

Their mission? Capture the mad genius behind the plot and create a countermeasure before it's too late.

Lazarus will span 13 episodes, airing weekly beginning April 5.
