A good game doesn’t always make a good movie. But sometimes, a relatively niche game can turn into a great TV series. That’s exactly what happened with Twisted Metal, which is set to return for a second season this summer. Streaming platform Peacock has released a new trailer, and it looks awesome.

The comments under the video have been overwhelmingly positive. Fans have missed Twisted Metal since the first season, and some viewers who initially had low expectations were pleasantly surprised—now they’re eagerly awaiting the continuation.

The original game series had a fairly simple plot: Calypso (who, by the way, looks absolutely stunning in the teaser) gathered skilled drivers to compete in a deadly vehicular combat tournament. The winner would have one wish granted.

The last game in the series was released in 2012, and for a while, there were rumors of a new installment in development. Unfortunately, it seems that project was canceled.
