Now, it is official: the new Avengers movie titled Doomsday has entered the production stage, and Marvel decided to reveal a stellar cast with more than 25 stars in it. It hosted a five-hour broadcast where a long row of chairs with the name of the actors was shown. 

It is unsurprising to see the entire Fantastic Four (the latest edition with Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards) or Thunderbolts there. What is particularly interesting is that there will be a lot of X-Men, and the old ones. We're not talking only about Sir Ian McKellen or Sir Patrick Stewart coming back to the roles of Magneto and Professor X, respectively, but also James Marsden and Rebecca Romijn as Cyclops and Mystique. 

I feel that the original X-Men trilogy did not bring enough justice:: James Marsden, who is an excellent actor, did not get enough recognition back then, and Rebecca Romijn is a better Mystique than Jennifer Lawrence. Also, there will be Channing Tatum as Gambit.

Currently, the movie is planned to release on May 1, 2026.
