The company has released the trailer for its series based on the cult manga Kakegurui. The story transports viewers to the exclusive world of an elite academy where social hierarchy is determined solely by gambling prowess. However, the established order crumbles with the arrival of a mysterious new student who challenges the entire system.

Published since 2014, the manga has already been revitalized through an anime adaptation by legendary studio MAPPA - with two main seasons and a separate spin-off confirming the franchise's popularity.

The new show is set to premiere on May 15. The creators promise to deliver that signature blend of psychological tension and adrenaline-fueled gambling duels that earned the original worldwide acclaim.

However, the trailer has already faced significant criticism on Netflix's main channel. Currently, the like-to-dislike ratio stands at approximately 2000/7000, indicating substantial viewer dissatisfaction with the adaptation's first look.
