Travis Willingham, CEO and one of the cast members of the popular show Critical Role (known for his roles as Grog, Fjord, and Chetney), has shared that their first video game could be announced very soon. According to him, the team is actively working on a project that will allow players not only to meet beloved characters but also to influence the course of events in the world of Exandria.

Back in December 2024, Willingham mentioned that the game's development was in its final stages, concluding a long creation process. While details of the project remain under wraps, there are speculations that the game could offer either a completely new story or reimagine events from one of the campaigns featured in the show. This will be a new step for fans, allowing them to dive deeper into the beloved universe.

Critical Role is a popular web series in which a group of professional voice actors play tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons. The show has become a cult favorite thanks to its charismatic characters, gripping storylines, and the masterful storytelling of Dungeon Master Matt Mercer, who creates the detailed world of Exandria. Cast members, including Travis Willingham, Laura Bailey, and Liam O'Brien, bring humor, drama, and emotional depth to their roles, making each episode unique.

The show has inspired comics, books, and the animated series The Legend of Vox Machina.
