Recently, Elon Musk has become arguably the most controversial person on Earth. He becomes a bigger player on the chessboard of US politics, people call him fraud over his gaming achievements, but regardless of what you think about him, the Neuralink project is something worth paying attention to as it might change human life for the better.

A businessman has stated that as of January 2025, Neuralink's brain chip has been implanted in three people—the first implantation took place in early 2024. According to Elon Musk, there have been no issues with the implants created by his company—they work well. The experiment will be expanding, as over the next 12 months, Neuralink plans to implant its brain chip in another 20 to 30 individuals.

The first person to receive the company's implant was Noland Arbo, a paralyzed man who, just a few months after the operation, was able to play Mario Kart and Civilization VI. The second patient, Alex, even managed to take out a few bots in Counter-Strike.

Neuralink is also actively seeking volunteers to test the Blindsight chip, designed specifically for blind individuals.
