When Jensen Huang presented the NVIDIA RTX 50-series graphics cards, he stated that the 5090 and 5080 would be released first, followed by the 5070 and 5070 Ti in February. Now, we can say with a high degree of certainty that the NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti will launch on February 20, thanks to a data leak.
A product page for the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti appeared on the website of Topachat, one of France’s leading electronics retailers. This was first spotted by VideoCardz.
NVIDIA has not officially confirmed the release date for the RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti. However, VideoCardz pointed out that a second retailer's website also listed February 20 as the launch date for the RTX 5070 Ti.
There is no confirmed release date for the RTX 5070 yet, but media outlets speculate it will launch a week after the Ti version. The recommended price for the RTX 5070 Ti is expected to start at $749, while the RTX 5070 is projected to cost $549. Due to high demand, both models are likely to be sold at a premium by retailers.
After the dust settled from NVIDIA’s presentation and analysts broke down the specifications, a consensus emerged: the 5070 Ti and 5090 could be intriguing models, whereas the 5070 and 5080 have raised some concerns regarding their price-to-performance ratio.
