Usually, keeping everything up to date is a good thing. However, once in a while updates happen to break stuff which has been working fine before. The installation of NVIDIA Game Ready 572.XX drivers has caused numerous issues for owners of NVIDIA graphics cards. Users are reporting various crashes, freezes, monitor disconnections, and overall game instability.

According to user feedback, the problems affect multiple generations of GPUs, from the GTX 10 series to the latest RTX 50 series. Some experience game crashes, while others report their PC forcefully rebooting.
Many believe the issues stem from new features introduced in the drivers for GeForce RTX 50 GPUs, such as DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation. Online discussions suggest that the technical problems began immediately after the release of these driver updates.
User reports indicate that rolling back to driver versions 566.XX (released in November and December 2024) resolves the issues. As of now, NVIDIA has yet to respond, despite users actively reporting problems since late January.
