The developers have returned with a Counter-Strike 2 update that modifies the game's rules and addresses several bugs.
Recently, the second Premier season has been unveiled for Counter-Strike 2. Valve has made some changes to the balance of the competitive shooter, as well as a number of fixes to the Train map and more.
Premier Mode
- Train has been added to the list of advanced maps.
- Vertigo has been removed from the list of advanced maps.
- Everyone who earned a CS rating in the first season will receive a commemorative medal with detailed season stats.
Gameplay
- The cost of the M4A4 has been reduced to $2,900.
- FAMAS accuracy has been improved and the cost has been reduced to $1,950.
- MP9, MP5-SD and MP7 squat accuracy has been reduced.
- Adjusted AUG and SG aiming point to be easier to use at longer target distances.
Train map
- Fixed the angle of view from the “longnops” to the A tab point of aim that could be obtained when crouching.
- Eliminated lighting artifacts on double-sided materials.
Different
- Added logic to allow playback of incomplete demos copied from a live match in progress or recovered from a game server crash.
- Fixed a vulnerability that allowed players to fire a revolver using the alternate fire button and then sell it.
- Counterstrike summaries are now available in game server logs sent to a specified address along with console logs.
