The first major in the history of Counter-Strike 2 is now in the books! You can’t imagine a better start to a new era than by crowning a champion who attended all CS:GO majors. Natus Vincere beats FaZe Clan 2:1 and becomes the champion of PGL Major Stockholm!

Despite the final score of 2:1 (13:9 on Ancient, 2:13 on Mirage, 13:3 on Inferno), there was not much competition. Depending on the map, one team dominated the server while the other really struggled. It is even more notable that teams won the maps picked by their opponents. FaZe Clan boasted that their preparation allowed them to play all seven maps in the competitive pool, but they could do nothing on the decider, Inferno.

This championship is the triumph of NAVI management: less than a year ago, the core roster left the team, and the club went into the rebuild. Natus Vincere had to build a squad from scratch and find a replacement for their superstar s1mple, and now they are on the top. Congratulations, Natus Vincere!
