The group stage of the VALORANT Champions 2024 is still ongoing, but we can already name the four teams that have advanced to the playoffs from first place. They had to win two matches in a row, but as is often the case in high-level competitions, it’s much easier said than done.

Remarkably, the regions are on par with each other. If you take all the representatives from the four major regions combined, each of them has a 3-3 record. Therefore, it’s no surprise that the four teams advancing to the playoffs come from different regions.

Group A was dominated by DRX, the second-seeded team from the Pacific region. They are joined by Team Heretics (Group B, third seed EMEA), Trace Esports (Group C, third seed China), and G2 Esports (Group D, second seed Americas).

Tomorrow and the day after, the elimination matches will be played in the group stage, which will result in four teams being sent home. Will this regional balance continue? It's an intriguing question.
