Gamescom 2023 takes place from August 23 to 27 and never ceases to amaze us. Judging by the rumors, the audience is waiting for a high-profile announcement from "The Great and Terrible" Valve. Insider and blogger Tyler McVicker revealed that Valve will announce a new team-based shooter Neon Prime at Gamescom 2023.

Judging by the description, Neon Prime could be a direct competitor to Riot's Valorant shooter. IceFrog, one of the key creators of the legendary Dota 2, is involved in the development of the new shooter. Neon Prime, like Valorant, will be a team-based shooter with some mechanics of MOBA genre.

Earlier, McVicker shared news about this game. According to him, it will be a dynamic shooter with Dota 2 style. Judging by his stories, the game will even have some destructibility of the environment.

The audience can only wait for Valve's performance. If the game is really announced, Riot will have to work hard to compete.
