In August, Andrzej Sapkowski completed work on a new book about Geralt of Rivia, which is not part of the official The Witcher Saga pentalogy. Now, the author has revealed the timeframe for when it will hit store shelves.

Sapkowski was a guest at the "Igrzyska Wolności" (Freedom Games) forum, which happened in Łódź. He participated in the "Between History and Freedom" panel, and during a Q&A session afterward, he was asked about the new book. He mentioned that in today's world, everything happens rather quickly.

The author shared that he is under a non-disclosure agreement with the publisher, but he expects the book to be available in Polish stores on December 1.

Sapkowski did not reveal the title of his new book, citing the publisher's influence. He has previously been tight-lipped about his work, stating that if he disclosed details too soon, someone might steal his idea.

This will be the first book of the Polish author about Geralt of Rivia since The Witcher 3, the game that boosted the popularity of the character, was released.
